Born in Manizales, Colombia in 1966.

He started his studies in the School of Fine Arts of Cali, Colombia. He later travelled to Bogotá where he attended the studio of León Trujillo, who in 1992 invited him to participate in the creation of a 271 m² mural painting commemorating the 500 years of America’s discovery, at the Apostolic Cathedral of Mitú in the Amazon.

In 1992 he moved to Portugal and met Antonio de Macedo, from whom he has received extensive knowledge on figurative art. Since 1989 he has participated in various individual and group exhibitions.

His artwork is also represented in several private collections.

His studio is currently in Porto, where he lives.
